I’m looking into Halliburton (HAL) and one thing I’m trying to understand better is the margin story.
Revenue can move around a lot with oil prices and drilling activity, so I’m more interested in whether the company is becoming more profitable on the business it already has.
For those who follow HAL closely, are operating margins trending in the right direction? And do you think any improvement is sustainable, or mostly tied to the current energy cycle?
